I have been acting in this market for almost 30 years and therefore have worked with many photographers for many headshots. I’d really like to express my recommendation about Bill.
First, he is an excellent photographer (or there obviously wouldn’t be a recommendation forthcoming). Technically, with respect to lighting, backdrops, etc., there are many photographers who are capable of putting it together. But that’s the easy stuff.
Second, and what is most important in my book, is making the object of the photograph feel comfortable and at ease. Positive feedback is important in order to get the most out of a subject. With the right feedback at the right time and a little direction, anyone can get good results from Bill. I’m still self conscious about sitting for a headshot but I feel very comfortable with Bill.
The fact that he has a virtual moving studio is totally unique in the industry. It’s really a no brainer. You have your entire wardrobe selection right at your finger tips and when you do your makeup, there’s no lugging it around and then realize you’ve forgotten something at home.
In summary, when you want a great headshot, call Bill. You can’t go wrong.
